United Way of Davidson County is composed of staff and a 30-person volunteer Board of Directors representing business, social services, local government, and individual donors across Davidson County.  Conducts an Annual Campaign and a Fund Distribution process in partnership with over 30 human service agencies in Davidson County.

Program: Provides disaster preparedness and relief, including assistance to victims of single-family fires; emergency communication for members of the armed forces and their families; international tracing services for refugees.  Provides blood and blood products to area hospitals.  Offers training classes in first aid, CPR, HIV/AIDS education, babysitting, aquatics, children’s programs and direct services such as first aid team.
